Pupils in Beech, Pine, Elm and Chestnut enjoyed a fantastic author visit this week
Mrs Nuru Balama Lyria visited Year 1 and 2 to read her book 'Meet Jua', which is linked to our 'No Outsiders' stories. It is about a girl who goes on an adventure to a faraway land, where she finds herself looking different from everyone else.
Our pupils had a great time meeting her and Mrs. Nuru Balama Lyria was incredibly impressed by the engagement and enthusiasm of the children. They enjoyed listening to the story and asked lots of insightful questions.
