Summer Term

This half term our topic is 'Living Things'

We are focusing on: Where do animals live?

We have been very busy this half term. We have enjoyed finding out about MINI-BEASTS!

ZooLab came to visit us. We met a giant African Snail, Olaf the Snake, Daisy the Gecko and a Tarantula. Take a look at our photos....

We have also learnt about the life cycle of a frog and a butterfly.

We have our own caterpillars in Nursery, which we will release when they become butterflies.

We have learnt about wild animals and are enjoying our safari role play area

SPRING TERM

This half term our topic is 'Once Upon A Time.  We are focusing on: What stories do I like?

We have been very busy this half-term. 

We have enjoyed looking at the Traditional tales 'Little Red Riding Hood' and 'Jack and the Beanstalk.' We have enjoyed acting out the stories with puppets and making our own puppets. We will also be looking at different modern tales, including, 'What the Ladybird Heard' and 'Plunge into the Pirate Pool.' 

We all brought our favourite book to school and expalined why we liked the story. We are going to be reading all of our favourite books over this half-term.
