Royal Albert Hall Performance, 2023

Hertfordshire Schools Gala at The Royal Albert Hall 

On Sunday 30th April 18 children from year 5/6 choir took part in a celebration of music making from over 2500 pupils from Hertfordshire schools and Hertfordshire Music Service. 

The rehearsal and concert that followed featured a wide range of music including music composed specially for the event and   involving instrumentalists, two primary and a secondary choir and in addition dance groups from schools across the county. 

Under the baton of Rufus Frowde members of Prae Wood choir enjoyed a wonderful evening giving life to music in South Kensington. 

It was an absolutely fantastic event, enjoyed by everyone who took part as well as their families, who came along to the beautiful venue to support the singers

Thank you to Mrs Tinkler for leading the choir and helping them prepare for this brilliant experience, as well as Mrs Sheppard and Miss Rogers who accompanied them all to the venue and enjoyed the concert on Sunday.
