Year 4's Viking Day, 2023

Year 4 had a blast from the past and spent the day immersing themselves in Viking life! 

The pupils had fun taking part in the quiz and found lots of fascinating facts and had the chance to play Viking games. We watched how coins were forged and handled some artefacts from Viking longhouses. 

The Vikings were certainly a bloodthirsty bunch and we got to see how swords, shields and axes would have been used in battle, including this terrifying demonstration!...
