On Monday 12^th February, Year 2 travelled on the coach to London Central Mosque. They were welcomed by a friendly tour guide who was very funny! They got to see a model of the mosque that Muslims go to on pilgrimage, learn all about the 5 pillars of Islam and find out about some important people in the faith of Islam. They were very lucky to be allowed in the prayer room where they took their shoes off and sat and watched a prayer taking place. Year 2 had a fabulous day exploring the religion of Islam!
