A visit from Farms2ewe

On Wednesday 15^th May Farms2Ewe brought in their animals to see Reception and Nursery. We were lucky to meet a calf, goats, pony, ducks, chicks, guinea pigs, lambs and even a mouse. During their visit we were able to touch, stroke, feed and hold the animals, learning about how they live from the farmers who brought them. It was lots of fun!

Last half term our topic was 'Wonderful World. We focused on:

Wonderful World - Where do other people live?

There was a special treat awaiting the children when they returned after the Christmas holidays - the opportunity to travel to space!

In the hall awaiting the children was a Planetarium, inside the black dome the children saw and learnt about the planets up close and experienced what life might be like on a space station.

It was a fantastic experience and we all learnt lots about space!
