Welcome to Year 4

Summer Term

This half term our history topic is 'The Vikings'.  We will focus on:

The children enjoyed the Viking workshop, especially learning about where the Vikings came from, Viking raids and weapons. They played a Viking board game called 'Fox and Geese' and had fun spear wrestling.  We will spend the rest of the half term learning about how they lived and travelled, with us finally designing and making a Viking longship.
